New restoration
With her third feature film, Kristina Talking Pictures, Yvonne Rainer once again broke the rules of narrative convention by using various techniques and genres, including collage, documentary, and a cast of many actors performing the role of the main character. Originally filmed by Babette Mangolte and Roger Dean in 16mm black and white, and restored by the Museum of Modern Art and the Celeste Bartos Fund for Film Preservation.
