Many artists have produced impressive work in their late years. This program reviews paintings made by 17 artists in their old age, works that demonstrate remarkable creative vitality. Some of the artists discussed include Giovanni Bellini, Alexander Calder, Paul Cézanne, Edgar Degas, Frans Hals, Winslow Homer, Henri Matisse, Claude Monet, Rembrandt van Rijn, Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, Titian, and J. M. W. Turner.
