Summer Lecture Series Highlights Dutch Art in Honor of Recently-Released NGA Online Edition
Washington, DC—In July and August, the department of adult programs at the National Gallery of Art presents the lecture series A Festival of Dutch Art in honor of Dutch Paintings of the Seventeenth Century, the first project released in NGA Online Editions. Launched in April of this year, the web-based catalog by Arthur K. Wheelock Jr., curator of northern baroque paintings at the National Gallery of Art, offers visitors in-depth information about the Gallery’s collection of Dutch paintings.
All lecture programs are presented free of charge and take place on Saturdays at 1:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. in the West Building Lecture Hall, unless otherwise noted. Seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis.
