Overview: 101 photographs by Harry Callahan were on view in this exhibition honoring the centenary of the photographer's birth. The exhibition was organized thematically and chronologically and included works created throughout Callahan's career from the early 1940s through the 1990s. Photographs on view were selected from the collection of the National Gallery of Art, supplemented by loans from private collections.
Exhibition curator Sarah Greenough presented the lecture "Harry Callahan at 100" on October 2.
