Overview: This focus exhibition of a newly acquired Civil War painting by Winslow Homer, Home, Sweet Home, was on view together with 20 drawings, a watercolor, and a print by the artist from the Gallery's collections. 18 of the drawings came to the Gallery from Edmund Louis Gray Zalinski II. They had been given to his grandfather by Homer in 1904.
Organization: The works in the installation were chosen by Nicolai Cikovsky Jr. and Franklin Kelly, curators of American and British paintings at the National Gallery.
