Overview: On view were 114 prints and drawings received after the 50th anniversary of the National Gallery of Art. Also included was The Gallant Gardener, a previously unknown red chalk drawing by Antoine Watteau. It had recently been discovered by curator Andrew Robison and purchased by the Gallery at auction in London.
Organization: The coordinator for the show was Andrew Robison, Andrew W. Mellon senior curator at the National Gallery of Art.
