The 1984 Pritzker Prize for Architecture was awarded to Richard Meier of Richard Meier & Partners Architects in New York. As part of the award ceremonies, the National Gallery of Art Library installed an exhibition including nine drawings and two architectural models for Meier’s projects: the Hartford Seminary, 1978–1981, and The High Museum of Art, Atlanta, 1980–1983. These materials were supplemented with architectural books from the library’s collection.
Organization: The exhibition was organized by the National Gallery of Art. Lamia Doumato, reference librarian, was curator.
