This exhibition provided a survey of the American architecture resources available to researchers in the library’s collection. From monographs on individual architects to surveys of architectural styles, critical studies of particular works to trade magazines and periodicals, practical guides for builders to theoretical works, the library’s holdings are a treasure trove for serious scholars and curious enthusiasts alike.
Organization: The exhibition was organized by the National Gallery of Art. Lamia Doumato, reference librarian, and Roger Lawson, cataloger, were cocurators.
