Biography

On 17 June 1890, Josephine Victoria Sackville-West married her cousin, Lionel Edward, 3rd Baron Sackville [1867-1928]. Lionel served in WWI, and was a Deputy Lieutenant and Justice of the Peace for Kent. The couple had a daughter, Victoria Mary, who became an accomplished novelist and poet (publishing under the name V. Sackville-West), and married the Honorable Sir Harold George Nicholson, 3rd son of the 1st Baron Carnock.
