Biography

Fanny Worthington Ledyard was the widow of William Ledyard, son of Nathaniel and Elizabeth (née Denison) Ledyard of Stonington, Connecticut. A portrait of Fanny's mother-in-law (painted c. 1790) is now in the NGA.
