Biography

Emilia was the daughter of Germain Lavie [d. 1781], of Putney, London. She appears with her six siblings in a painting (now in the NGA) that Lavie commissioned from the German-born artist Johann Zoffany around 1770. Emilia married Luther Lechmere of Middlesex.
