Biography

Bouverie was the son of Edward Bouverie, a member of Parliament, and his wife Harriot (daughter of Sir Everard Fawkener, Kt., Ambassador at the Porte). He served as a Deputy Lieutenant and Justice of the Peace. On 10 March 1788 he married Catherine [d. 1846], only daughter and heiress of William Castle; they had three daughters and three sons. Their eldest son, Everard William Bouverie, became a General in the Royal Army.
