Biography

Thomas Graham married the Hon. Mary Cathcart [d. 1792], daughter of the 9th Baron Cathcart. A Member of Parliament and celebrated commander in the Peninsular War, he achieved the memorable victory of Barossa on 5 March 1811, and was created Baron Lynedoch on 3 May 1814. Graham was succeeded at the time of his death by his second cousin, Robert Graham.
