Biography

Mignon Sommers was first married to Albert J. Kobler, president of The American Weekly, a Hearst publication, and then publisher of The Daily Mirror. After his death on 31 December 1936, she married Edward A. Westfall, also a Hearst newspaper executive. She was no longer living when her son, Jason Sommers Kobler, became engaged in April 1943.
