Biography

Decap assembled a collection of Impressionist paintings beginning around 1880 and dispersed at his sale held at the Hôtel Drouot on 15 April 1901. He was the brother in law of Rouen collector Félix François Depeaux, who also was an important supporter of the Impressionist painters.
