Schoeller, André

French, 1879 - 1955

Biography

One of the directors of the Galerie Georges Petit, Schoëller also acted as expert at sales. In 1921 he gave a collection of Corot drawings to the Louvre, and in 1947 a group of Barye terracottas. After his death in 1955 two sales of his collection were held at the Hôtel Drouot.
