[dimensions reversed]); (Jos Hessel, Paris) and/or (Ambroise Vollard, Paris);[2] probably sold to Adolph Lewisohn [c. 1849-1938], New York, by 1921;[3] by inheritance to his son, Sam A. Lewisohn [1884-1951], New York; bequest 1951 to NGA.
