Enjoy gallery talks by violinist Peter Sheppard Skærved during April’s First Saturday, creating a dialogue between art and music. As part of his “Knowledge Exchange Violin Project,” he will focus on select works in the National Gallery’s collection, including Barbara Hepworth’s Sculpture with Color and Strings, Pablo Picasso’s Harlequin Musician, and paintings by Mark Rothko.
Sheppard Skærved has presented this project worldwide, at museums, including the Tate Galleries, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and British Museum.
