Cultivate your curiosity and celebrate the back-to-school season! 

Discover the creativity of typewriter poets, the magic of face painting, art carts in the galleries, and more! U.S. Poet Laureate Ada Limón and illustrator Peter Sís will inspire us through artmaking and conversation around their book In Praise of Mystery. NASA will present on the mysteries of Jupiter’s moon in preparation for the Europa Clipper mission launch in October 2024.  Plus, hear from the For Freedoms artist collective.  

On the first Saturday of each month the East Building comes alive with art making for all ages, films, pop-up experiences, and more. Learn about upcoming First Saturdays.

All activities are free, and most are first come, first served. Some activities require registration.
