The Accademia di San Luca petitions the civil court of the senator of
Rome against the brothers Giacomo and Tiberio de Alberini, represented
by their procurator Sebatiano Mansueti, for payment owed. The judge
releases a mandatum gratiosum et rigorosum [mandate specifying
the legal time period for action to be taken] and orders a testimony
under oath. The procurator Mansueti replies that the amount owed must be
specified and witnesses must be heard.
