The Accademia di San Luca, represented by its camerario [treasurer] and procurator Pier Francesco Rossi, petitions the civil court of the senator of Rome against Felice Ferrario. Ferrario satisfies the request of the Accademia to testify under oath. The day after, Ferrario turns up in court and takes the iuramentum de calumnia [oath of slander].

Felicem Ferrarium ex adverso principalem. Perus

se die 8 huius domi dimissa Copia eidem Intimasse qualiter D. decre-
vit, et relaxavit mandatum exequtivum et alias prout in
actis Instantibus eisdem principalibus sivè etc.
Ex adverso Idem citra etc. et satisfaciendo importunitati partis admisse
medio iuramento tactis etc. Iuravit de Calumnia super tota causa
iuxta formam statutorum, et novae reformationis
S.mi monitus etc.
