Summary

1628/06/08

Archivio di Stato di Roma (ASR)

The Accademia di San Luca, represented by its procurator Pier Francesco Rossi, petitions the civil court of the senator of Rome against Felice Ferrario. The judge requires the defendant to testify under oath regarding his presumed denial recorded in the notarial acts. As the defendant did not turn up in court, the procurator of the Accademia asks for his willful nonappearance to be recorded and for the release of an executive order according to the formula nisi ad primam diem [in other words, it takes effect the next day].
