DCPS Bus Transportation
Bus transportation is available for DCPS (District of Columbia Public Schools) participating in our docent-led school field trips. Teachers should follow the guidelines below to apply for bus transportation.
Please review our tour topics and then request an in-person field trip at least 5 weeks prior to submitting a bus transportation request; see the steps below.
Steps to Request:
- Review docent-led school field trip tour topics.
- Request an in-person field trip at least 5 weeks prior to the requested date.
- Once confirmation of the field trip is received, submit a bus transportation request as soon as possible (ideally 3 to 4 weeks in advance).
- You will receive an email noting if funds have been awarded within 7-10 business days of submission.
General Information
The Gallery will reserve and pay for the total cost of any roundtrip bus transportation for students and accompanying adults from the school to the Gallery. Bus transportation will be provided by approved DCPS vendors.
The Gallery will not be liable for any injury or damages arising out of such transportation.
