Chronology of Giacomo Balla's life:
1893 - Moved to Rome after studies in Turin.
1900 - Visited Paris; influences his early work with Divisionism. Taught Boccioni and Severini in Rome.
1910 - Joined the Futurists; investigated speed and movement; created works that directly involved the spectator.
1930 - Turned from Futurism to a more figurative, traditionally representation style.
1958 - Died in Rome on March 5.
