Biography

The daughter of Octavius Bradshaw, a Justice of the Peace and Deputy Lieutenant, of Powderham Castle, Devon, Lady Michelham married her first husband, Sir Herbert Stern, 1st Baron Michelham [1851-1919], in 1899. They had a son, Hermann Alfred, who succeeded his father as 2nd Baron. After being widowed, Lady Michelham remarried on 6 February 1926, and sold some of Baron Michelham's art collection by auction through Hampton and Sons of London. She died the following year.
