Cremer, Josef

Biography

Dortmund entrepreneur who acquired the Their Brewery in 1888, Josef Cremer was also an art collector. A three volume catalogue of his collection was produced c. 1914 with an introduction by Hermann Voss. Records of Cremer's cultural activities are held by the Stiftung Westfälschen Wirtschaftarchiv, S 8/19.
