Alfred Daber was both a dealer and a collector. He opened his first gallery in 1924 in the Montparnasse part of Paris, where he exhibited works by Lhote, Klee and Delaunay, among others. His second gallery is Paris opened in 1936, and there he exhibted works by Guigou as well as Lépine, Boudin, and Jongkind. Daber retired in 1970.
