Born Renée Bianchi in 1869, one of three daughters of Marius Bianchi, a merchant, and his wife Mathilde, née Jeanin. Renée descended on her mother's side from Pauline-Jeanne, one of twin daughters of the artist Jacques-Louis David. Renée married in 1889 William-Amable-Emile-Adrien, Vicomte Fleury [b. 1859], a colonel in the cavalry. Adrien's father, Emile-Félix, was a general in Napoleon's army upon whom Napoleon conferred the title Comte hereditaire in 1870 in exchange for his service. Renée and Adrien had a daughter who later mattied the Comte Gramont de la Guiche. Renée died in 1948.
