Artist, Swiss, 1879 - 1940

This painting contains abstract shapes and lines in various colors forming geometric patterns with rounded edges and overlapping layers. Earthy yellows, muted greens, pale blues, and splashes of purple create an abstract representation resembling mosaic tiles or a patchwork quilt. The painting includes sections of soft colors at the top suggesting the sky. To the right is a vertical rectangular form with three blue squares resembling a building. On the left is a circular shape among the other patches of color that looks like an abstract clock.
