How has photojournalism changed over the last century? Join us in the exhibition Dorothea Lange: Seeing People for talks led by photojournalism students from the Corcoran School of the Arts & Design at George Washington University. Featuring some 100 photographs, the exhibition addresses Lange’s innovative approaches to picturing people, emphasizing her work on social issues in the 1930s and 1940s, including economic disparity, migration, poverty, and racism. The students will reflect on Lange’s work and career in light of their own photographic practices and research inquiries today.
