Overview: 8 paintings by Francisco de Goya included 2 early tapestry cartoons, 2 portraits, 2 Black Paintings, and the celebrated pair La Maja Desnuda and La Maja Vestida. They were lent by the government of Spain as a contribution to the American Bicentennial celebrations. The Majas were shown separately in a large room.
